Although we are still saddened by the loss of our
Opposite Steer Landrover.
We’d like to announce the Rebirth of a
1970 long-wheel based Landrover as the successor!
Our new Opposite Steer Landrover was dumped over 10 years ago in Kemnay, and after much care and many days in the workshop with our mechanic Peter, it’s been given a second chance. Peter worked to rebuild the vehicle, namely new seats, a new engine, and a fantastic new paint job!
As the name suggests, the steering is made to be opposite from what you’d expect. You turn the wheel right and the car will go left! One of our many teambuilding challenges is to blindfold the driver and have team members in the back seat calling directions without actually saying ‘right’ or ‘left’. A great lot of laughs!
We wish the new Landrover many successes
here at Deeside Activity Park!
