With us the first week in December 2010, these powerboards are a stand on, track propelled snow machine that carves through the snow like a snowboard. Ideally to be used as an alternative when the snow is here but can be booked as a separate activity. As is the case when it snows on Deeside the snow gates get closed and you can't get to the slopes so why not come to us and snowboard here!
Fishing
This part of Scotland has always been a world-class
venue, but the mighty River Dee is no place to learn.
On our uncrowded loch stocked with good fish, our
friendly ghillie/instructor will guide you through
the ‘gentle art’. With good quality tackle and a
stock of ‘flies’, you’ll soon experience the thrill
of that first fish!!!!
Bucking Bronco
Our Bucking Bronco joined us in 2010 and is great fun. It can be set at different speeds to challenge any age or ability. The bronco is free to corporate groups as part or your evening event and can also be booked for private events.
Rock Climbing
One of the fastest growing sports at this moment,
and when you try it, you’ll know why. We’ve built
a low level ‘bouldering’ wall, which doesn’t require
ropes, and is suitable for all abilities and confidence
levels!
Axe Throwing Firstly, we though this cannot possibly
be safe! But we’ve ‘risk assessed’ it to death,
and we can’t find anything! Proper Swedish double
axes, are thrown from 20ft, two handed, and the
feeling of satisfaction when you connect is fantastic.
Power Boat Manoeuvres
This Norwegian built 16ft, is very stable and very
manoeuverable. Its four stroke 20hp Yamaha engine,
is very torquy, and is ideal for what we do. Many
of you will know, our loch is not that big, but
as part of a teambuilding exercise, or for a group
of (disadvantaged) youngsters, it works really well.
We’ve got all the lifejackets required, and two
of our instructors have their coxwains ‘ticket’.
Orienteering
If you like a good walk in the beautiful countryside
of Aberdeenshire, then come along and pick-up one
of our orienteering maps. We’ve got a short course
for the youngsters and those looking for a gentle
stroll, and a longer course for the fit and keen
amongst you.
